Actor Refutes Anti-Vax Views After Lending His Voice To Contentious Pandemic Film

Liam Neeson has given his narration to a new documentary that questions the safety of immunizations and commends one-time government figure Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Film's Disputed Basis

Called "Plague of Corruption," the film is adapted from a popular book published by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the health crisis for claims that Covid was a result of a problematic version of the influenza shot.

The publication's co-author, Kent Heckenlively, has penned books with controversial figure a known commentator. He took to social media celebrating Neeson's participation in the film.

A Strong Denial

A spokesperson for Neeson have issued a comment strongly denying implications that he subscribes to anti-vaccine sentiments.

"Many recognize that misconduct may occur within the medical sector, but that cannot be conflated with rejection of vaccines," the response reads. "He is not, and remains not, anti-vaccination. His long work with the UN children's agency reinforces his long-held support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response continued that the performer had no hand in the project's narrative and that inquiries about its claims ought to go to the producers.

Central Claims Within the Film

As presented, the script read by Neeson features several controversial claims:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have called for "complete compliance" to public institutions.
  • It argues that "research has become dangerously politicized."
  • RFK Jr is interviewed claiming, "The big problem with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • It further attacks stay-at-home orders, claiming they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Concerning Covid vaccines, it references a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Previous Background and Ongoing Debates

The film includes a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the focus of a BBC apology by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

Last month, Kennedy called on the national health agency to revise its long-held position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is also referenced in the film, despite a new report from the WHO confirming no such link has been found.

An Earlier Record of Support

Contrasting the documentary's narrative, Neeson has formerly voiced strong support for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he called vaccines as "an incredible triumph," stating that "The conversation about vaccines in lately has forgotten how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in history."

"Plague of Corruption" concludes with Neeson's voice saying, "This isn't the conclusion of our narrative. It is the dawn of a fresh chapter."
