The young full-back One more composed performance from the youngster after his initial appearance against Serbia. Saka did not capitalize on full advantage of an exquisite touch over the opposing backline. His position looks secure so soon. Seven

Adam Wharton A debut start for his country. A bit sloppy in possession but his inswinging deliveries caused problems. A useful tempo-setter for the coach to call upon against defensive opponents. Cautioned for a rash challenge. 6/10

Declan Rice Crosses from corners and free kicks created chances. Had license to move on the left yet found himself offside as the pass came in front of goal. Awarded a deserved rest after an hour. 6

The star midfielder Played in a forward spot down the right and also did plenty of dirty work. Demonstrated moments of class and scuffed a shot wide. Replaced towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. 7

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s top opening in the opening period, his effort smartly stopped from the Albanian keeper. With Quansah holding position, he was forced to stretch the play out wide but his crosses into the box were inconsistent. Taken off with 15 to go. 6

The captain The difference-maker netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes for his country. The opener a trademark opportunist's goal while the second an excellent finish with his head having drifted away away from the opposition. Aged 32, his form is unwavering and England are strong contenders in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Struggled to get into the game on the left flank. Was presented with a good opening after being played in by the midfielder yet Strakosha denied him. Rashford made much more of influence when substituted. Five
